oh the people you meet...

Yes!!! I got to check out the apartment! The people who own/operate it are sooo nice!! M. Martin was so accommodating, and when I told him I was staying in a hotel, he offered for me to stay there right away, (tonight) for free! Unfortunately, the hotel I am at would not let me leave, saying that I had booked it online, therefore I had to pay for the rest of the time I booked. The guy at the reception was rather rude at first, and he got angry. I tried to explain the situation, and he ended up saying, no you can't just cancel the last 6 days you are supposed to stay here we want the money, but of my good graces I will see if I can take off the last three. So he did, and I will have to stay here until the 29th. Which is whatever. Good but bad. Oh, and M. Martin thinks that that isn't legal, to make me pay...

But the best part? I met another assistant! She is 22, and is from Venezuela! AND GUESS WHAT?!?! She is a vegetarian!!! I AM SO EXCITED! she is super nice also, and hopefully we can work on my Spanish too. It is neat! We can speak Spanish, French, and English to each other!! :)

Worst part: I have a TERRIBLE headache from all of this though. I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. F breakfast, I put a do not disturb sign on my door. :)

I had a great dinner. I went to this restaurant around the corner, and got a cheese omelet with a small salad, and the salad had artichokes in it. Yum. I got a beer with it, (yay Heineken) and then I treated myself to dessert, chocolate liégeois- chocolate ice-cream with chocolate pieces in it, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. SO GOOD.

I know, interesting right? :)
